Shanghai YueQian Laser, together with Shanghai Road and Bridge Group and China Railway First Bureau Group, jointly developed a new shield machine hob cutter ring strengthening process, looking for the use of nickel-based tungsten carbide composite powder to metallurgically form a wear-resistant cladding layer. The cladding layer has the characteristics of ultra-high hardness, excellent wear resistance and good overall toughness of the tool. Through laboratory simulation tests and actual field use, it has been proven that the cutter ring can effectively reduce the wear of the cutter ring, extend the service life of the hob, and reduce construction costs when facing complex geological conditions.
