Laser Surface Enhancement
YueQian Laser offers advanced laser cladding and laser hardening services to enhance the surface properties of metal components.
Laser Cladding
applies a high-power laser to melt and fuse a coating material with the base metal, forming a metallurgically bonded layer. This improves wear resistance, corrosion resistance, thermal stability, oxidation resistance, and electrical properties with minimal dilution.
Laser Hardening
rapidly heats the surface layer to austenitizing temperature using a high-energy laser, followed by rapid quenching. This process increases surface hardness, wear resistance, and fatigue strength by forming a martensite microstructure.
Applications
