Shanghai YueQian Laser Technology Co., Ltd. recently hosted a delegation of foreign experts from Cargill Group, a global leader in food, agriculture, and industrial products. During the visit, YueQian Laser's General Manager, Wang Xiaoxiang, provided an in-depth presentation on the principles and applications of laser cladding, highlighting the company’s significant scientific research achievements in the field.

The discussion also reviewed a past collaboration where YueQian Laser used laser cladding to repair Cargill's scraper head shaft. Both parties expressed interest in continuing their cooperation. During the visit, Cargill’s experts observed live laser cladding on a hydraulic piston rod, engaging in detailed technical exchanges with YueqQan’s engineers.

Cargill, the largest privately-held company in the U.S., has been operating in China since the 1970s. YueQian Laser's laser surface modification technology addresses critical challenges in food machinery, such as improving high-temperature resistance, wear resistance, and corrosion protection. This technology offers not only new product enhancements but also effective repair and re-manufacturing solutions for worn parts, helping customers save resources and reduce costs.
