In line with national policies "Made in China 2025" and the "High-end Intelligent Re-manufacturing Action Plan (2018-2020)", Shanghai YueQian Laser is actively promoting intelligent and green manufacturing, particularly in high-end re-manufacturing. The company recently collaborated with Hongrun Construction Group to repair a wear-resistant ring of a shield machine using laser cladding technology. This marks a significant milestone for YueQian Laser in the remanufacturing sector, following the successful strengthening of the shield machine hob cutter ring.
The project, which took half a year from concept introduction to final implementation, involved overcoming technical challenges such as oversized parts, deformation control, cladding layer cracking prevention, and ensuring uniformity of the cladding quality. The re-manufactured wear-resistant ring was repaired, strengthened by cladding, then turned and ground, resulting in a controlled deformation of 1.0-1.5mm for the 2500mm diameter ring. The surface hardness achieved was HRC 58-60, with all other performance indicators meeting re-use requirements.
This achievement demonstrates YueQian Laser's expertise in shield machine re-manufacturing, contributing to the national strategy of promoting sustainable, high-value manufacturing solutions.
